Mimo iż tego dnia obchodzony był Dzień Dziecka a nasz klub stanął na wysokości zadania i przygotował dla najmłodszych fanów Wandy szereg atrakcji jak choćby możliwość wyjścia z żużlowcami do prezentacji, malowanie twarzy, wspólny doping w młynie z kibicami oraz przejażdżki z zawodnikami po zakończonym meczu to… sam mecz już taki bajkowy nie był. Obfitował w wiele upadków, niestety dość groźnych. Już w pierwszym biegu po makabrycznie wyglądającym incydencie Daniel Pytel bezpardonowo podcięty przez Łukasza Przedpełskiego z całym impetem uderzył w bandę, dodatkowo ją rozrywając. W kolejnych biegach również upadków nie brakowało co przełożyło się na to, że po godzinie zawodów „objechane” były zaledwie cztery wyścigi. Mimo wszystko Wanda dość gładko radziła sobie z gośćmi, opór z ich strony był naprawdę znikomy a same zawody nie dostarczyły zbyt wielu emocji. Na uwagę zasługuje postawa Rafała Trojanowskiego i jego wyczyn z ostatniego biegu. „Trojan” pokazał nam jak walczyć do końca na na ostatnich metrach, dosłownie rzutem na taśmę przedarł się pod samą bandą przed prowadzącego prawie cztery okrążenia Ryana Fishera. Majstersztyk! Oby był to dobry prognostyk co do postawy naszego kapitana.
Na trybunach jak i poza nimi świętowały dzisiaj dzieci a doping przy znacznym akompaniamencie najmłodszych (który momentami prowadził młodziutki Patryk, gratulujemy odwagi!) – wypadł dobrze. Najbliższe mecze to dwie wyjazdowe potyczki, które odbędą się w dwu-tygodniowych odstępach – najpierw w Rawiczu, następnie w Opolu. Szczegóły dotyczące zapisów na wyjazdy – już niebawem!
